But for the game being mobile I felt like TouchDrive was the best option. I personally found TouchDrive really underwhelming however it might be more fun in more challenging routes the further you play. The game actually allows three kinds of controls to race your car such as TouchDrive, Tap To Steer and Tilt To Steer. Something that was newly introduced in Asphalt 9 though was the option to touch drive. Asphalt 9 is compared to Asphalt 8: Airborne which had been released in 2013 in terms of improved graphics design but still similar. It was developed by “Gameloft Barcelona” and then published by “Gameloft” and is free to play but makes it’s money through in-app purchases. The racing game is a single player/ online multiplayer game that supports ios, android, Nintendo Switch, and more. Of these features are the “a prestigious car lineup, new control schemes, including the autopilot mode called Touch Drive, and race modes” ( source).
Some backstory, as a part of the Asphalt series, in July of 2018 the racing video game Asphalt 9 was released carrying a number of new features. So I was excited to see what Asphalt 9 had to offer.
Growing up with my brothers and dad loving video games we spent a lot of time playing together but my favorite kind of games to play on our playstation consoles was always anything involving cars and car racing.
